Winner of Three Awards in the 2009 NSPS Plat/Map Competition

Flatirons, Inc. is pleased to announce that members of our staff won awards in a Map/Plat contest sponsored by the National Society of Professional Surveyors, based in Gaithersburg, Maryland, for 2009. The NSPS is a member organization of the American Congress on Surveying & Mapping. Of the five categories, Flatirons won in three:

John B. Guyton, Chairman and C.E.O. of Flatirons Surveying and Surveyor of Record, would like to recognize the following for their hard work and skills in preparing their entries to this year's competition:

Olivia Sautter, who drew the ALTA Survey at 12th Street & Graham Avenue, and the Government Lot 4 Evidence Survey. Olivia has more than 11 years of professional experience in Surveying, Drafting, Site Inspection and Supervision, including specialized training with the United States Air Force in South Dakota, Germany, and Iraq.

William Werner is the Manager of the Drafting Department and Systems Administrator at Flatirons Surveying. Bill has over 10 years experience in international mapping for geophysics including work in most of the Western United States as well as in the remote Middle Eastern and South American Divisions prior to joining Flatirons, Inc. He has been part of the Flatirons team for over 16 years, working in both in field and office operations. He oversees all scheduling and quality control, and performed all document checking for these contest entries.
