Flatirons, Inc. was selected for a multi-year contract by the United States Forest Service in 2009. This contract is being used by the USFS for survey work in central and eastern Colorado, including the Arapahoe, Roosevelt, Pike and San Isabel National Forests and the Pawnee and Commanche National Grasslands.

In 2010, Flatirons, Inc. was chosen from among 31 competing firms by the National Park Service for a 5 year contract for topographic and boundary survey and mapping services that will support engineering, design operations, maintenance and construction of various projects for the Intermountain Region. This region includes the following states: Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, Arizona, Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma.

"After 28 years of providing surveying services to residential, commercial and local government clients, mostly along the Colorado Front Range, these new government clients represent a new and exciting growth opportunity for Flatirons, while we continue to maintain the same quality services for our Front Range customers," John Guyon, Chairman and C.E.O.
